Getting attention from everyone BUT the person I want. Seems like I can never win, but I know the Lord works in mysterious ways..have to keep the faith.

I found myself asking “am I doing it for him or for Him?” & “why?” I didn’t know at first WHO I was doing this for…although I would’ve liked to think it was for Him…but to be honest with you…I really didn’t know. Somewhere along the way, things got hazy and I was stumbling in the dark and it seems like I grabbed into the first thing I could find. But that’s when the insecurities creeped up on me like a thief in the night. They stole away my self esteem and left me with the opinions that everyone else has given me. Here I was; a helpless woman in the dark with what I thought was nothing. “when you are down to nothing, God is up to something.”
